Quest 3 and Conquest was launched at Jurong Regional Library this morning. Quest is a fantasy story and collectible card programme by the National Library Board (NLB). Quest is now in its final run and the National Library Board has come up with a new initiative named Conquest.

The National Library Board has released a set of Quest special edition collectible cards. We have always challenge ourselves to adopt a new design approach and illustration style for each series of Quest cards, and we believe these series of cards will be well-received by Quest fans.

Quest 2 is a sequel to a reading program that was introduced by the National Library Board last year. The objective of the program is to encourage young boys to read, in particular the age group of 7 to 12. All the kids have to do is to borrow 4 books and use the loan receipt to exchange for a packet of Quest collectible cards. So if you have kids between the age of 8 to 13, its time to encourage them to go to the library!

Quest 2: Unleashing the Rain Dragon was launched at Woodlands Regional Library this morning. Quest 2 is a new series of collectible game cards and story launched by the National Library Board (NLB), and written by Felicia Chin, one of NLB’s librarians.

Quest 2: Unleashing the Rain Dragon is coming to a library near you. It took us 2 months to design, illustrate, print and pack everything. Looking back, its pretty amazing to accomplish this much within a 2 month time frame.

Quest is a newly launched reading programme by the National Library Board (NLB) to encourage reading among reluctant young readers, particularly boys between 7-12 years old, with the introduction of fantasy story told through the use of collectible game cards.
